The Filipino American Community is a group dedicated to personal sanctification through the Block Rosary crusade, retreats and Bible Study.

Objectives:

To support the parish spiritually and financially through our various projects.
To invite and welcome all Filipino Americans of St. Mary’s to join us in our journey toward spiritual growth and enjoy the friendship and camaraderie of our fellow countrymen (kababayans).
To build one community rooted in faith, nurtured by prayer and fellowship and inspired by our Filipino traditions.

Meetings:

Once a month or as needed. Members are notified by telephone call or text messages

Events or activities in place:

Monthly fundraising of selling pancit/lumpia and rice after Sunday Masses at the coffee corner.
Casino trips every three months for fun, relaxation and entertainment
Annual participation of the Filipino Booth at the Parish Festival
Simbang Gabi Novena Mass from December 15 – 23
Santo Nino Fiesta every 4thSaturday of January
Mary’s Home Visitation – Our Lady of Fatima comes to the home of Filipino families in North County every 2 weeks from Saturday to Saturday. Members participate in the visitation and prayers.
Committed adorers for the Perpetual Adoration at our church
Fellowship events for the community to update members of the activities going on.
 Proceeds of our fundraising goes to the New Parish Hall
